
TUCKER TIME
Each lunch time head over to our new 'Tamina Tucker House' for some fun and food!
Local organisations are taking advantage of this platform and offering some fun lunch time events. During this one hour lunch slot, they will share with the community some of the work that they do and provide some fun activities and healthy food.
Saturday August 4th noon - 1pm
'Anyinginyi Public Health Unit' with 'Stronger Families' will demonstrate and give out tastings of a Kangaroo Stirfry together with a local flavour Bush Scones cooked in open fire. There will also be Kangaroo Stirfry available to purchase for lunch.
Sunday August 5th noon - 1pm
'Anyinginyi Public Health Unit' presents 'Deadly Kidz in the Kitchen'. This live event sees young people battling it out in the kitchen to cook up the best recipe. Come along and cheer them on.

A few weeks prior to the event young people who want to be involved will be given the recipe so there is plenty of time to practice and add their own flare. There will be two categories, for kids under 12 and over 12.
Monday August 6th noon - 1pm
Rotary support many important causes and this Festival they are getting behind mental health. Not only will they serve up a feast, the are also having a range of fun games and activities to raise funds for mental health. Audiences can bid on prizes, compete in games and have a whole lot of healthy fun that will not only boost your own seratonin but support an important community cause.
