A unique outback festival experience

The Desert Harmony Festival is an annual event which is hosted by Barkly Regional Arts on Warrumungu lands in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory. The Festival provides a vital platform for the culturally diverse community in the Barkly region to present and fully experience the arts. It also provides a unique opportunity for visitors to spend some time in Tennant Creek and the Barkly region to meet local people, experience the beauty of the desert landscape, to share stories and learn about Indigenous culture.

The Festival program has something for everyone and all ages - it's an exciting combination of professional, locally produced work that showcases the talents in the Barkly region, community performances and  Australian productions that collaborate with local artists to present shows that are truly awe-inspiring.

If you are up for an adventure you will discover a vibrant, inclusive, dynamic festival which offers a full program of music, dance, art, film, food, theatre, workshops and cultural activities in a beautiful desert landscape. It's an open invitation - why don't you come and experience it for yourself?
